Football Tasmania will establish a Hall of Fame to honour, preserve, and celebrate the achievements and legacy of Tasmanian football through recognition of its key contributors.
Football Tasmania Chief Executive Officer Tony Pignata said: “The Hall of Fame will recognise players, coaches, referees, administrators, media, and contributors who have made an enduring impact on football in Tasmania, because their legacies have helped shape the game we all love.
“We know there are individuals who have a long and proud history within our game, and I strongly encourage the football community to submit nominations.
“This is a meaningful opportunity to recognise those who have gone above and beyond in service to football.”
Community members are invited to nominate deserving individuals by outlining the nominee’s contributions and impact, which will be assessed by a panel drawn from the Tasmanian football community.

Nominations close on Friday 18 July. The first inductees will be announced at Football Tasmania’s End of Season Awards Night on Saturday 13 September, 2025.
