Football Tasmania Strategic Plan — 2024 - 2028
Introduction
The Strategic Plan 2024-2028 is a roadmap for Football Tasmania as we grow our game and build for our future.
It will guide us as we make important decisions to encourage participation at all levels, develop the facilities we need, and create pathways for all from juniors to elite, so that football is the chosen sport for Tasmanians.
The strategic plan will guide our team and how we work together with the State’s football community for the benefit of all.
We will work on key initiatives that address each of these pillars, as we provide opportunities for Tasmanians to have a healthy, enjoyable and connected life through participation in football.
The plan centres around four key strategic pillars:
- Unifying football: Unify the Tasmanian football community to work collaboratively for the collective good of the game
- Competitions and pathways: Enhance our local competition and pathway opportunities
- Participants: Grow participation and engagement in our game
- Facilities: Improve the quality and provision of football facilities across the State
The strategic plan was released on 18 July 2024 following a consultation process, which included stakeholder sessions and a Statewide survey.
The plan is endorsed by the Football Tasmania Board of Directors.
