FOOTBALL TASMANIA HALL OF FAME NOMINATIONS NOW OPEN
In 2026, Football Tasmania will again seek nominations for its Hall of Fame, to honour, preserve, and celebrate the achievements and legacy of Tasmanian football through recognition of its key contributors.
Together, we can celebrate the proud history of Tasmanian football and promote its growth across the State for generations to come.
Nominees will be sought and inductees determined based on the following selection criteria:
1. Longevity and dedication to the sport. Coaches, referees, administrators, or media representatives need to have 15 years’ service to the game; players must be retired from their most senior appearance for at least five years.
2. Impact on football in Tasmania
3. Excellence and achievements
4. Contributions to the community and broader football culture
Community members are invited to nominate deserving individuals using the below form to outline the nominee’s contributions and impact, which will be assessed by the panel.
Nominees must be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia. All nominations must be for individuals, not teams or groups. Unsuccessful nominees may be re-nominated and/or re-considered for nomination in subsequent years.
Nominations close at 5PM, Thursday 23 July 2026.
