2020 Statewide Referee Conference

Registration is now open for the 2020 Statewide Referee Conference. The Conference will be held on Saturday 1 February, at the University of Tasmania Sandy Bay campus in Hobart, kicking off at 10:00am and running all day. It will feature various presentations, guest speakers, Q&A sessions and the chance to up-skill your refereeing knowledge as well as your ability to work in a team. This is an enormously beneficial event in developing your officiating skills and anyone looking to referee in Season 2020 is strongly encouraged to attend.  Following the success of Mark Clatenburg last year, we will once again be bringing in an internationally renowned officiating figure as a guest speaker, provided the registration take up is strong enough to warrant it. So register now to ensure that happens! Referee Development Manager Tony Peart said it would be a worthwhile event for all referees regardless of their level or experience. "Building on the success of last season, we are looking to start the year strong and this provides a great opportunity to catch up with colleagues and mix with referees from all corners of the State officiating at all levels." "With the large number  of law changes coming into effect next season, this will be a good opportunity for us to take stock and make sure we are all on the same page ahead of the new season."
