Football Tasmania is seeking applicants for State Team Coaches (Head & Assistant) for 2023. The following positions are being sought:
Under 14 Girls - National Youth Championships 2023
Under 16 Girls - National Youth Championships 2023
Under 14 Boys - National Youth Championships 2023
Under 15 Boys - National Youth Championships 2023

Areas of Responsibility:
The National Youth Championships (NYC) will potentially be held in September 2023 in New South Wales. Coaches will be required to attend the NYC for a period of one week (approx.)
Coaches will need to be available to take coaching sessions on weekends and potentially be flexible with days, depending on the team you are working with. Football Tasmania will work through this with potential coaches throughout the appointment process. Further sessions may be run during school holiday periods.
The selected coaches will work with the Football Tasmania Technical Department to deliver a high-level training program and create an elite learning environment.
Football Tasmania will be appointing both Head and Assistant Coaches.
Other important information:
- Coaches will be required to hold at a minimum, a current FA/AFC C Licence (Current B Licence or working towards this is preferable)
- Demonstrated communication, organisation, and leadership skills
- Previous experience in coaching within an elite football player development program is required
- All coaches must display an ability to work in a team environment
- Coaches must have a current Working with Venerable Persons clearance (details will need to be provided)
- Coaches must possess a current driver’s licence as frequent state-wide travel is required in the lead up to the NYC
