

The camp is one of four, used to select a Westfield Junior Matildas side, who will travel to Chonburi, Thailand from September 10 to 23 this year for the AFC U-16 Women’s Championship.
The two Tasmanian's will be part of the 23-player squad, and were selected based on their performances from the NTC Challenge in Canberra last week.

Football Federation Tasmania Technical Director and Head of NTC Women's Program, Michael Edwards said;
"FFT is very pleased to have two Tasmanian footballers part of the first camp. Both Madi and Emily have worked very hard this year to progress their development in their club environments and in the FFT Talent Support Program.
FFT in conjuction with the clubs wish them all the best and look forward to hearing of their experiences in the camp when they return."
The competition also serves as qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, which will be held in Uruguay in 2018.
