Christie-Cox Haines Joins FT Board

Football Tasmania is delighted to welcome Christie Cox-Haines to the Board effective immediately. Christie will be coming on to the Board in the casual vacancy created when Mark Jefferson moved interstate earlier in the year. Christie is a Family Lawyer with Rae and Partners in Devonport and studied a Bachelor of Arts and Laws with Honours at UTAS. She has played football since she was 14 including playing in the victorious Ulverstone Women’s Super League in 2018. She is also a qualified football referee. President of FT, Bob Gordon said ‘We are delighted to welcome Christie as a new Director. As a current player and a person with strong professional skills she will add significant value to both our organisation as well as to the sport more broadly. We are looking forward to the contribution that Christie in her role as an FT Director’ The addition of Cox-Haines takes the skills-based voluntary FT Board to eight Directors, four of whom are female. They are; Bob Gordon (President and Chair), Janine Healey (Deputy Chair), Daniel Hanna, Ekaterina Skalidis, Jim Lange, James Brooks, Fiona Reynolds and Christie Cox-Haines.
