Clarence Zebras Claim Derby Bragging Rights

https://youtu.be/zGEYobS2W1s Clarence Zebras once again have claimed Eastern Shore bragging rights, as they downed Olympia 2-1 at Warrior Park in Saturday night's Derby. Headed goals from Huigsloot and Little secured the victory as the Zebras made it 2 from 2 in season 2020 over their neighbours

Some crafty play from out on the right by Samson Juju gave the visitors the lead when his cross set up a clear headed chance for Luke Huigsloot at the back post in the 17th minute. Randall got a piece of it, but the ball looped to the big frontman who duly nodded home.

The lead lasted just 10 minutes however when Callum Brown equalised for his side in the 27th minute with a low driven shot after running onto a ball lofted into his path.

But it was via the air once again that the Zebras then reclaimed their lead another 10 minutes later, as defender Thomas Little headed home a corner from Riley Dillon that picked him out to perfection.

The second half was a largely drab affair with chances few and far between, but Joseph Mwarabu nearly got the Warriors back on terms when his long range shot rattled into the post.
