Coaches named for National Youth Championships

Football Tasmania is excited to announce the Head Coaches of our state teams competing in the 2021 National Youth Championships. Please join us in congratulating: Chris Hey – Head Coach U16 Girls Karen Wills – Head Coach U14 Girls Darren Purton – Head Coach Under 15 Boys Harry Rickus – Head Coach Under 14 Boys Other positions for these teams will be announced in coming weeks. Our Under 14 and Under 15 boys teams will be travelling to Coffs Harbour in September and our Under 14 and Under 16 girls teams will be heading to Canberra in October.

Trials will begin this weekend for the boys.  If you have not registered your 2006 or 2007 born boys or your 2005, 2006, 2007 or 2008 born girls, please do so before the 5pm on the 18^th of June (BOYS:  https://form.jotform.com/211458343458863) (GIRLS: https://form.jotform.com/211471075455857) The majority of the costs associated with being part of these teams is covered by families of the players, with some subsidy provided by FT. We are working hard to secure partners for these teams in order to minimise this cost and we have also set up a fund in the Australian Sports Foundation.
