Community Coach Development Update

The past few weekends have seen more than 100 coaches undertaking coach education and development opportunities in preparation for the 2018 junior season. Last Saturday morning alone saw 40 coaches from Central Region teams complete the ALDI MiniRoos Certificate at a sunny Margate Oval, with another 16 coaches taking part in an Introduction to Skill Training in the afternoon.This follows on from a number of ALDI MiniRoos, Skill Training and Game Training Certificate courses at various venues in Hobart and Launceston throughout March and April. The ALDI MiniRoos Coaching Certificate is fun, fully practical and aimed at new coaches working with players aged 5 to 9. FREE Introduction to Skill Training

The Introduction to Skill Training is not a formally recognised course, but an introduction to the Skill Acquisition phase and the model sessions, ideal for coaches of players aged 10-12 who are wanting ideas to move on from the more basic MiniRoos activities, but not able to commit to the full 2-day Skill Training Certificate.
