The Football Tasmania Board recently met to consider and discuss the Competition Review Report that was submitted by external consultants, Sport Business Partners. This Report was the outcome of a comprehensive process that has taken place over the last 7 weeks, involving consultation, analysis and stakeholder engagement.
As a result of discussion the Football Tasmania Board has requested some additional information on a couple of aspects of the recommendations put forward, to ensure any decisions they make to alter competition structure are made with an in-depth understanding of the implications, as well as how the various initiatives would be operationalised.
This work will be undertaken as a matter of urgency and will be provided to the Football Tasmania Board for their consideration. The decisions of the Board in relation to all of the recommendations in the Report will then be communicated to the broader football community.
