Football Tasmania is delighted to launch our Coaching for Women Scholarship program. A large focus for Football Tasmania over the recent years has been about female participation in the sport and this program is an important step towards growing participation across all aspects of the game for women and girls.
The reasons for a lack of female representation in our coaching ranks are many and complicated and we know that financial commitment is one of the largest barriers. This scholarships aims to address this and we encourage you to reach out to the women in your clubs and associations and encourage them to apply.
