Football Tasmania will offer its next C Diploma coaching course beginning 4 November.
The course has recently been revamped by Football Australia. The Foundation course will now become part of the C Diploma, and will be run as the first day of the course.
The C Diploma will continue as a 60-hour course as per AFC requirements, but will be reduced to five days of practical learning. The extra hours will be made up online and in club training sessions.
Another change in the diploma is that most participants will be assessed during the course, not as a separate assessment after the course has been completed.
Football Australia has also reduced the fee to $1050.
The next B Diploma course will be offered prior to the new season starting and registrations will open soon, with the practical component expected to begin late November.
