FOOTBALL TASMANIA TALENT ID CAMPS DISCOVER "GREAT TALENT BASE"

Last week Football Tasmania conducted four Talent ID Camps. The camps were held across four days in Launceston and Hobart for boys and girls born in 2009 and 2010.

The purpose of the camps was to give coaches an opportunity to identify talent prior to the commencement of TSP (Talent Support Program) and State Team programs.

The sessions saw 125 players attend and were run by Football Tasmania staff, David Smith and Alan Eadie, as well as Football Tasmania TSP coaches.

Football Tasmania Development Officer Alan Eadie said, "the camps provided our coaching team with a great insight into the talent we have entering our high-performance pathways.

"Players were put under high levels of football pressure and intensity and responded with high quality performance. We believe we have a great talent base to move forward with."

More information about TSP and State Team programs will be released in the coming weeks.
