The trend of draws between the top four sides continued at D'arcy Street on Saturday as the Kingborough Lions and South Hobart played out a 3-3 classic. The ladder leaders South Hobart jumped out to a 2-0 lead thanks to a Nick Morton brace, but the Lions rallied to lead 3-2, striking twice in 5 minutes midway through the second half and were just minutes away from victory before Bradley Lakoseljac struck late to secure a point for the hosts in what was probably the game of the season to date.

City Hold on For Narrow Derby Win
Launceston City held off Riverside Olympic to once again claim derby bragging rights, scoring a narrow 1-0 victory at Windsor Park on Friday night. Talisman Thierry Swaby had City ahead inside the opening 10 minutes and it would be the lone goal of the contest. The Roos had chances to draw level and came within a whisker of earning a point right at the death, as Daniel Latinovic made a superb goal line stop in the final minute to save his side.

Strikers Get Back On The Winners List
At Wentworth Park, the Devonport Strikers snapped a streak of draws by comfortably accounting for the Clarence Zebras. Goals from Mahachi, Ichimura and Lanau-Atkinson, as well as the almost weekly dose of Brody Denehey scoring a spectacular goal, saw the Strikers cruise to victory. The three points sees the Strikers gain some ground on the Lions and South at the top of the table, following their draw earlier in the day.
