City Hold Knights To Draw
Launceston City held the previously ladder-leading Glenorchy Knights to a 1-1 draw to bump the Knights from the summit of the table. A second-half strike from star striker Thierry Swaby saw his side snare a point after Riley Dillon had handed Knights a first half lead. Despite some late chances, it remained locked at 1-1 as City continued to prove a tough road trip for title fanciers.

Glenorchy Knights 1 (R.Dillon 39’)
Strikers Gain Ground
The Devonport Strikers brushed aside bottom-placed Launceston United, scoring a comfortable 6-1 win as they closed the gap to the top of the table. Zasadny and Lanau-Atkinson both scored braces as the Strikers continued their strong goal-scoring form of late and start to work their way back up the table, after a slightly slower start to the season than we are accustomed to seeing.
Final Score
Launceston United 1 (L.Warrener 82’)
Devonport Strikers 6 (K.Mulraney 6’, D.Zasadny 19’ 26’, N.Lanau-Atkinson 40’ 53’, D. Mahachi 90+’1)

South Sneak Past Zebras
South Hobart moved back to the top of the table, as they held off the Clarence Zebras at Wentworth Park. Austin Yost scored the lone goal of the contest with his early opener, as South rode their luck to hold that 1-0 lead right until full time. The Zebras squandered multiple scoring chances in the second half and will rue this one as a missed opportunity, whilst South did what champion sides need to do and claimed 3 points despite being below their best.
Final Score
Clarence Zebras 0
South Hobart 1 (A.Yost 3’)
