McDonald’s Women's Super League Round 7
Taroona Rally Late To Deny Roos
Taroona struck twice in the dying moments to deny Riverside Olympic their first-ever WSL win and force a 2-2 draw. Riverside largely dominated the contest but were wasteful in front of goals and didn't extend their one goal lead till the 84th minute, when they finally scored a deserved second. But that sparked the Pirates to life, and against the run of play they struck twice in two minutes via Nickson and Walker to secure themselves a point, and then almost snatched all three with a near miss in stoppage time.
Riverside Olympic 2 (M.Connolly 37' M.Findlay 84')
Taroona FC 2 (Z.Nickson 88', J.Walker 90')

Knights Hold Leaders Devonport
The Glenorchy Knights held the ladder-leading Devonport Strikers to a 2-2 draw at Valley Road in a surprise result and highly impressive effort from the competition newcomers. A brace from Ines Gadon had the Strikers playing catch up, and whilst they were able to fight back from two down to claim a point, they couldn't find the winner, so they now sit three points clear on top with every side having now played each other once.
Final Score
Devonport Strikers 2 (L.Foote 44', D.Capel 55')
Glenorchy Knights 2 (I.Gadon 25' 30')

United took a 2-1 lead into the half-time break but a pair of Walsh strikes from outside the box had the Lions back in front just five minutes after the restart. Davis extended the lead from the penalty spot 15 minutes from full time and despite Otto providing some late hope for the visitors, the Lions held firm and jumped past United into third on the table.
