The annual National Skills Acquisition Phase Festival is on again, taking place at the Valley Road Sports Ground in Devonport, Tasmania from Friday 23 – Sunday 25 February 2023. With the support of the Devonport City Council and Devonport Strikers FC, the Festival provides opportunities for players in the latter part of the Skill Acquisition Phase to meet and play prior to the commencement of their respective seasons.
In 2024 the age groups and categories for competition will be as follows:
• Under 10 Mixed for players born in 2014 (or split girls/boys teams if numbers permit)
• Under 11 Mixed for players born in 2013 (or split girls/boys teams if numbers permit)
• Under 12 Club competition (numbers permitting)
• Under 12 Representative competition (numbers permitting)
• Under 13 Girls for players born in 2011.
Entries are for club-based teams only and players must be registered with that club. Team entry fee is $110 per team including GST. You may nominate a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 13 players per team. For teams to nominate teams for the 2024 National SAP Festival please go to the following link:
