NPL TAS: Round 18 Team of the Week

GK- Jarrod Hill (Riverside) The young keeper was out his outstanding best to keep South Hobart at bay and pulled off a crucial penalty save in the process. RB- Ryu Yonezawa (Hobart Zebras) Has been pretty dominant wherever he has played, but you can tell he's a natural full back, never lost a duel all night and provided superb coverage. CB- Jan Charuza (Hobart Zebras) A mountain at the back that blanketed Leszczynski and was utterly immovable in the heart of the Zebras defence. CB- Ethan Olner (Riverside) The no nonsense Riverside centre half was a warrior as he threw himself in the way of shots, defended doggedly and played a huge role in the clean sheet. CB- Jono O'Neill (Riverside) The other half of the Riverside defensive wall, O'Neill made some vital interventions including a spectacular goal line clearance. LB- Thomas Ottavi (Launceston City) A thumping header at the back post was a fine reward for Ottavi who was composed on the ball and made some good defensive challenges. CM- Jordan Scott (Olympia) For 85 minutes it was one of his worst games of the season before he stepped up to the plate and delivered two clutch goals, including a fine free kick, and his corner then led to a penalty. His sheer passion and will to win carried his side over the line. CM- Cameron Steele (Kingborough Lions) Added some physical strength to the Lions side, strong on the ball and bagged himself a goal with a very nicely placed strike. AM- Martin Mitreski (Launceston City) Buzzed about dangerously and was a live wire, starting the scoring with an absolute gem of a goal from the tightest of angles. RF- Matthew Pace (Hobart Zebras) A brilliantly taken goal from capped a hard working performance from Pace, as his movement and pace gave the Knights defence problems. LF-- Mackenzie Hancox (Launceston City) Industrious in his work rate and he helped set up one goal and produced a brilliantly executed strike of his own with a perfect lobbed finish.
