NPL TAS: Round 22 Team of the Week

GK- Jarrod Hill (Riverside) Made a pair of a massive saves in the first half that proved telling in another commanding performance from the young keeper. CB- Ryan McCaragher (Riverside) Scored the opening goal of the game with a slide tackle goal, then switched to centre back and completely dominated back there. CB- Tyler Harrison (Glenorchy Knights) Had plenty of time to pick his passes from the back and was in control of proceedings as he pulled the strings and defended strongly. CB- Thomas Little (Hobart Zebras) Made some important late interventions and showed some really intelligent reading of the game in a disciplined performance. CM- Joel Stone (Devonport Strikers) As he has been all season, when his side needed inspiration most, it was Stone providing the big moment. His match winning free kick capped a classy outing. CM- Liam Gilmore (Riverside) Another one of the Roos young brigrade who continues to impress, Gilmore had a productive afternoon in the engine room and was a key to their fightback. AM- Nicky Edwards (Hobart Zebras) Frequently stretched the Warriors defence with his mazy runs and bagged a nice goal to kick start his sides charge. LW- Max Fitzgerald (Devonport) Tucked away the penalty from the spot with a minimal fuss and was lively throughout the afternoon, getting in behind the lines. RW- Samuel James (Glenorchy Knights) A creative livewire, James was the architect of a swag of goal scoring chances as he dissected the defence time after time. ST- Declan Brown (Glenorchy Knights) A perfect hat-trick for Brown, one with the left, one with the right and one with the head, and all in the space of a devastating 45 minutes. ST- Matthew Pace (Hobart Zebras) A classy brace from the speedy attacker, showing great anticipation and timing with his runs as he produced two high quality goals.
