GK- Dmitri Nester (Glenorchy Knights)
The experienced glove-man was absolutely lights out against South, making a series of big saves to frustrate South till late on in the piece.
CB- Thomas Little (Hobart Zebras)
Saved two goals off the line as he raced back to save the day and got his positioning spot on both times. Otherwise battled well and competed strongly in defensive duels.
CB- Lindsay Millington (Launceston City)
A real body on the line type performance from Millington who twice saved seemingly certain goals with vital defensive blocks.
CB- Guillermo Lazcano (Devonport)
Another imperious performance as Lazcano scored a goal and played a lot of great attacking passes to start moves off, whilst not allowing any counters to be sprung.
DM- Loic Feral (South Hobart)
Sat in front of his defence and shielded them expertly. Negated the danger man Brown with an accomplished, wily performance.
CM- Gilly Desouza (South Hobart)
Linked up between the lines well all night, and claimed the secondary assist on the opening goal by springing Gorrie, before directly setting up Turner with a well played cross.
CM- Shane Cartwright (Launceston City)
Was strong in midfield and provided plenty of steel with his strong physical presence and he created a pair of good scoring chances in attack.
AM- Nicky Edwards (Hobart Zebras)
Created plenty in the midfield for the Zebras and might have had multiple assist had his attackers converted. Took matters into his own hands with a stunning volleyed goal that had seemed the match winner.
RW- Eddie Bidwell (Devonport)
Bidwell has been a revelation in attack this season and having broken his goal-scoring duck, he is now firing them in for fun, bagging a treble against Clarence.
LW- Joffrey Nkoso (Olympia)
Torched Riverside with a devastating attacking performance that saw him netting three times and assisting on another for Ryan, whom he linked with superbly.
ST- Jack Ryan (Olympia)
His combination play with Nkoso was eye catching and he was unplayable at times, scoring two goals and setting up another in a powerful display.
