GK- Lachlan Hart (Glenorchy Knights)
Hart has emerged the Knights #1 keeper and he isn't going to be relinquishing that spot if he keeps performing as he did against City, earning his side a point with some big time stops.
RB- Keenan Douce (Kingborough Lions)
Was the Lions most lively player, as he put in a brilliant shift, toiling hard down the right flank and offered his side plenty going both ways.
CB-Guillermo Lazcano (Devonport)
Another week another domineering performance at the back from the classy Spainaird, whose ability to play out shone in a game the Strikers controlled.
CB- Tyler Harrison (Glenorchy Knights)
Harrison was vital under increasing pressure as the game wore on and highlighted his importance with a quality defensive display.
LB- Riley Dillon (Hobart Zebras)
Continues to provide so much attacking thrust for the Zebras, picked up an assist and it was his free kick led to another having tested from the set pieces all game.
RW- Darcy Hall (South Hobart)
Waltzed back into the league with a lazy five goals if you don't mind! Will face tougher tests in the weeks to come, but it was a hell of a way to announce your return.
CM- Ryu Yonezawa (Hobart Zebras)
The best player on the park against the Lions, the Japanese midfielder was a metronome and repeatedly won the ball back and started attacks.
CM- Jarrod Linger (Launceston City)
His best game for the season, Linger scored twice with a pair of well taken chances and was at his eye catching best throughout.
LW- Max Fitzgerald (Devonport)
Continued his strong start to the season as he scored the opening goal with a sharp 1-2, before curling in the assist on the second goal expertly.
ST- Jack Turner (South Hobart)
Grabbed a brace and had his way with the Reds defence who couldn't handle his tenacity and physical strength.
ST- Matthew Pace (Hobart Zebras)
Scored twice, the first a beautiful first time finish, the second the definition of a poachers goal. His movement was lively and he got his rewards on the scoreboard.
