Football Tasmania is excited to announce the Southern Boys Club Connect Series starting on Sunday 25th October, 2020.
This program is aimed at supporting the transition of males from playing football at primary school in Junior Association competition to club football in grade 7.
Records show that around 40% of players drop out of football at the end of grade 6 when they must move from school-based football to club-based football.
Southern Boys Club Connect Series in 2020 we will look at the u12 age group. This will mean that players born in 2008 are eligible for the program.
In term 4 the program will run at a number of different venues and will be supported by senior clubs.
Southern Boys Club Connect Series is a 5-week program commencing on Sunday, October 25th and running each Sunday until November 22nd, 2020.
