Pillai join the Strikers by way of Manly, where he has worked Manly Vale, in the Manly Warringah Football Association. He is coming off a successful season where he helped the club achieve promotion into the top division.
Like his predecessors, Pillai is well credentialed and holds an AFC B Licence and is actively working towards achieving his A-Liscence.
Originally from India, Pillai has shown a knack for achieving promotion, as his work a Salsette FC saw him wining promotion from the third division of the Mumbai Football League to the first division in just three seasons. Now he steps into a job in the top league and his job will looking to maintain the Strikers dominance of Tasmanian football, where they have developed into a powerhouse club, winning 5 of the last 8 major trophies that have been up for grabs (3xNPL, 2x Lakoseljac Cup.)
