GK- Olivia Gardner (Kingborough)
Was kept busy in the Lions net but yielded just the single goal in an impressive outing. Made some important saves and was dependable all afternoon long.
CB- Hanna Manuela (Kingborough)
The best player on the park, Manuela was a tower of strength at the back for the Lions and consistently repelled Warriors attacks.
CB- Maddie Black (Olympia)
Played an important role in keeping Davis subdued and offered good leadership at the back, keeping the defensive line well organised and disciplined.
CB- Selina Steventon (Hobart Zebras)
A strong display from Steventon setting the example in defence. Her good day would have been a great one had she not had a goal from nearly halfway wiped off due to an offside flag
CM- Christabelle Moore (Kingborough)
Competed well in what was a fierce midfield battle. Moore was combative in winning the ball and she did some nice things to jump start Lions attacking moves.
CM- Mary Coy (South Hobart)
Whilst the game got away from her side late on, Coy had been a primary reason it was level till late on, as she put on a commanding midfield performance, controlling the game from the middle of the park.
CM- Jade Williams (Olympia)
Wasn't a full 90 minutes from Williams but she left her mark on the contest as she set up what proved the match winning goal and looked classy in midfield, spreading the ball around nicely.
AM- Olivia Bomford (Olympia)
In an advanced role, Bomford pulled the strings and made things happen in the final third. She was ultimately the difference as she produced a top class finish for the games lone goal.
RW- Danielle Kannegiesser (Hobart Zebras)
Her pace and skill was on show as she created plenty of chances for her side as she danced around South Hobart defenders and then provided the go ahead goal as she teed up Fagan.
LW- Madison Chambers (Olympia)
One day she might miss out on selection, but it is not this day! Another quality showing from Chambers as she wreaked havoc down the left and created a number of dangerous moments for her side.
ST- Zoe Nichols (Hobart Zebras)
Nichols continued her red hot start to the season and pulled into the lead in the Golden Boot race with a well taken brace in a starring second half as she ran the South defence ragged.
