7:28pm- GOAL! 2-0! Rob Gerrard with a stunner from long range and Launceston City lead Devonport 2-0!
7:16pm- GOAL! 6-1! Hamlett again! Big deflection, so may or not be his, will need to see what the Referee gives. But could well be 5 from him.

7:07pm- GOAL! 5-1! Hamlett has four!!! This one a superb team goal, a flowing counter attack from end to end.
6:54pm, Half Time at Warrior Park and Olympia now doing it comfortably, leading 4-1.
6:50pm- Hamlett Hat-trick! 4-1! Hammer time doing his usual Lakoseljac Cup thing, and has a fine treble, this is either a misdirected cross or the most sublime chip, either way it lobs the keeper and picks out the far top corner.

6:45pm- Confirmation of Half Time at Buckby Landrover Park, it's Launceston City leading Devonport 1-0.
6:42pm GOAL! 2-1! The ball falls to Callum Brown in the box who buries his side footed effort into the back of the net.
6:35pm- GOAL! 1-1! Andrews sends Randall the wrong way and squares it up.
6:34pm- Penalty! Andrews is brought down by Curtis and an easy decision for Tony Peart to point to the spot!
6:18pm- GOAL! 1-0! Ben Hamlett! He opens his Warriors account with a close range header, Ryan nodded it back across the face and there was Hamlett.

6:00pm- Still no resumption to play, but unfortunately seems like a Broken leg to Jack Dance, ambulance has now arrived. Going to be tough for the players to resume after such a long pause.
5:20pm Approaching Half Time at Buckby Park and it's 1-0 to the hosts Launceston City leading Devonport. Unfortunately the game has been paused whilst Jack Dance is stretchered off after a nasty looking injury. Currently awaiting an ambulance, fingers crossed for the young lad.
5:14pm- It remains 1-0 to Launceston City over Devonport as we approach half time, with some stellar work from keeper, Lachie Clark keeping his side in the ascendancy by saving a penalty from Reynolds.

A thumping first up win for the Lions, who will enter the new NPL season riding high, whilst the Zebras will have some major work in the next 7 days.
5:05pm- Full Time: Glenorchy Knights 5-0 Northern Rangers, a comfortable win for the Knights.
4:51pm GOAL! 4-0! Knights have added two more goals, they've completely dominated the contest from the start and they are now getting the reward on the scoreboard.
4:48pm- GOAL! 1-0! Launceston City take the early lead over the Strikers. Rob Gerrard, who has joined the club after winning the Northern Champ B&F at Rangers last season.

3:48pm- It's 4-0 to South Hobart over Ulverstone in the Under 20's Gardner and Pullen adding second half goals.
3:47pm- GOAL! 5-0! Clarence Zebras finally add another goal in the second half having been in firm control of the contest.
3:46pm- GOAL 3-2! South Hobart! They always find a way don't they? They appear to have pulled it out of the fire, and are now moments away from a Quarter Final berth.
3:43pm GOAL! 2-2! South Hobart! South strike back to get on terms at Birch Avenue, with time running out they find a way to save themselves.
3:42pm- GOAL! 4-0! University! Platt with 2 in 2 minutes and University are running off into the distance, a big result this for the Southern Championship side!

3:37pm- At KGV, Glenorchy Knights are leading Northern Rangers 1-0, a lead they seized just five minutes into the game.
3:37pm- GOAL! 1-0 Kingborough! Keenan Douce scores in typical fashion from him, from a long way out!
3:35pm- GOAL! 2-0! University, they double their lead against Riverside, Roach with shot from 25 yards out deflects off a Riverside player and spins into corner. They only have 10 minutes left to hold on and eliminate their NPL opponents.
3:35pm- It's become ugly at North Chigwell, Taroona really putting the pedal down and are 7-1 ahead with 15 minutes still to play.
3:32pm- Beachside now with a 2-1 lead over Devonport in the Statewide Under 20's at Valley Road! Be a big effort from them to head up and come away with a result!
3:29pm- GOAL! 2-0! Olympia double their lead over Ulverstone at Warrior Park.
3:28pm- Looks to be game over at Shark Park, two more second half goals have Hobart United leading 4-0!
3:26pm- It's now 5-1 Taroona over Metro and that you would imagine is the ball game. The flood gates opening up in the second half.
3:25pm- GOAL! 1-0 Olympia! The Warrior Women take a lead on 23 minutes against Ulverstone.
3:22pm- Taroona now leading Metro FC 3-1 at North Chigwell and look set to advance, midway through the second half.
3:15pm- Launceston United 2-1! South Hobart! Well well, Launceston United take the lead early in the second half, a major boil over on the cards here. It was 12-0 the last time they, back met in the 2018 edition of the Cup!
3:03pm- Beachside and Devonport are locked at 1-1 in the Under 20's Statewide Cup.
3:00pm- More kick offs now taking place around the State in the Lakoseljac and Women's Statewide Cup. Delays to the games at KGV and Lightwood due to the added time in the Under 20s.
3:00pm- GOAL! 1-0! Glenorchy Knights! A last gasp winner before it heads to penalties. A free kick in the 119th minute has sent the Knights Under 20's past Launceston City.
2:56pm- Half Time in a number of games with 2pm kick offs, In the Women's, Northern Rangers lead Launceston City 3-0, Clarence Zebras lead Devonport 4-0. In the Lakoseljac cup Hobart United 2-0 over Somerset, and University 1-0 Riverside.
2:55pm- Full Time at Lightwood Park, after 120 minutes the Kingborough Lions have won 2-1 in the Under 20 Statewide Cup.
2:52pm Half Time at Birch Avenue and South Hobart have got themselves level 1-1 at the break!
2:51pm- Still no goals at KGV between Launceston City and Knights in the Under 20's, penalties just a few minutes away.
2:50pm- Half Time at Shark Park and it's Hobart United holding sway 2-0.
2:47pm- GOAL! 2-1 Taroona! Right on the strike of half time, it's Taroona who take the lead.
2:47pm- Jarrod Hill saves a penalty! Roach denied from the spot as he looked to double their lead, the best young keeper in the state bailing his side out there.
2:46pm- The title favourites are flexing their muscle at Wentworth Park, make it 4-0 to Clarence Zebras. Mady O'Brien converts from the spot.
2:45pm- South Hobart Under 20's double their lead against Ulverstone, Thomas Walpole the scorer.
2:42pm- Make that 3-0 to Clebras, DK with a simply sublime header that picks out the top corner.
2:35pm- It's now 2-0 to the Clarence Zebras over Devonport, Zebras doing the bulk of the attacking and they get their reward as Zara Dixon hits the back of the net.

2:28pm- GOALS! 1-1! Metro take the lead over Taroona, but Taroona respond almost immediately!
2:25pm- GOAL! 2-1! Kingborough take the lead in added time against Rangers. A very nice goal from outside the box into the top corner.
2:23pm- Hobart United! 2-0! Somerset! The visitors have jumped out of the blocks and have a nice early lead over their coastal opponents.

2:18pm- In under 20's action, it's into extra time at Lightwood Park after it ended 1-1 between Rangers and the Lions after 90 minutes. Will also be required at KGV where it ended 0-0 between City and Knights.

2:10pm- GOAL 5-3! Riverside double their lead and Meg Connolly has four goals!
2:05pm- Launceston City's Women's team mark their return to competition, taking on cross town Rivals Northern Rangers.
2:03pm- GOAL! 1-0! University! Our first Lakoseljac Cup goal of the day as University take an early lead over Riverside. Thomas Roach scores the goal.
2:02pm- Georgia Wing has put Riverside back ahead at Windsor Park, they lead Metro 4-3 now!
1:59pm- Full Time at Warrior Park and Olympia claim a 5-0 win over Taroona in the Statewide Under 20's.

12:52pm- A glorious day for Football at Windsor Park, but unfortunately not so glorious on the scoreboard for the Riverside Women, who trail Metro 2-1 after 20 minutes. They have clawed one back though after going down 2-0.
12:45pm- GOAL! 2-0 University! Zoe Lovell finishes at the back post after a cross in from the left and the Students looked primed to advance to the 1/4 finals.

12:20pm- Half Time up at Shark Park, and it's the kings of the jungle coming out on top against the kings of the ocean, the Kingborough Lions lead Somerset 3-0 at the break.
12:15pm- Half Time and it's 1-0 to University over Taroona.
12:11pm- GOAL! 1-0 University! Lilian Shegog the scorer! The Students take the lead on 41 minutes at Olinda Grove. Taroona have had 8 corners, but in terms of chances, University have made more and now they take on.
12:00pm- Olympia v Taroona is kicking off about now at Warrior Park in the Under 20's
12:00pm- 30 minutes into the clash at Olinda Grove and it's locked at 0-0, Taroona were well on top early and won a series of corners, but University weathered the storm and have worked their way back into the contest in the last 10 minutes.

11:15am- A really great story out of the Advocate, with The Fox in the Box himself, Miles Barnard to dig deep into his own pocket whenever the Devonport Strikers find the back of the net this season. The forward will donate $25 for every goal his team scores this season to Multiple Sclerosis Research Australia in honour of his mother, Elaine, who passed away last month from complications associated with MS after battling the disease for more than 15 years.

Across the Lakoseljac Cup, Women’s Statewide Cup and Under 20’s Statewide Cup we have some 20 games taking place today! So it's a huge day of football to restart season 2020 that is headed your way from around the state. Unfortunately with so many games, we can't cover them individually, but this is the place to keep track of all the action as it transpires. In this blog we will have score updates, videos and photos from around the grounds as they come in. If you are just after the basic full time results, then Score Centre is what you're after. This is usually one of the best footballing days on the calendar and it's made extra special by it doubling as the season restart, so lets hope it delivers.
