At the beginning of June, Ulverstone Soccer Club held a girls-only club session for their 11 to 14 year old female players. The session was run by FFT Women's Development Officer Holly-Lace Ayton and included a workshop where the female footballers were involved with discussions around inclusion, opportunities and player pathways.
The girls' were divided into groups and then worked together on different tasks. They were also asked to write down two things they would really like to experience within their football environment. Female Football Club Visits are an important new approach Football Federation Tasmania are taking to better service and support clubs and to continue to strive to create quality club environments. These visits provide the
FFT Women's Development Officer Holly-Lace Ayton said the highlight of the night came from one of the younger particpants.
"One of the girls wrote down that she wanted to play with Women's Super League footballer Phoebe Djakic in the future. This is a great reminder of the importance of role models within club environments."

Ulverstone Soccer Club Youth Girls Coach Angela Aitken initiated the session and was pleased to see the footballers engaged in both the on field and off field activities.
"It was an awesome experience for the girls to have some quality coaching. The girls loved it and were still talking about it at our game on Saturday. I'm so pleased and happy at the way they have progressed"
