The Olympia Warriors took care of business against Beachside to run out 9-0 victors and advance to the Statewide Cup Semi Finals. As expected the WSL powerhouse were far too strong for their Championship counterparts, as they raced to a 7-0 half time lead, before cruising home to book their Semi Final ticket.
The damage was done early on, as the explosive Warriors frontline used their pace and skill to get in behind the Beachside defensive lines. They simply had no answer to the threat from out wide, as Davies and Chambers wreaked havoc.
Chambers opened the scoring from one of the games first chances and goals from Davies and Pelafas soon had their side sitting pretty at 3-0.
Chambers and Pelafas bagged second goals as the half wore on, whilst midfield general Inocent Michael also found her way onto the score sheet.
Chambers would then cap off her simply exquisite first half as she burnt off the defence and thumped a powerful shot in off the underside of the bar to complete her hat-trick.
The foot went off the accelerator in the second half, with the game all but settled and the Warriors would only add 2 more to their end tally.
Credit to Beachside for gutting it out in a clear mismatch, and fighting to the final whistle, but there was only ever going to be one result from this game.
Rafaella Puli and Madeline Blackman were the second half goalscorers for Olympia as they ran out 9-0 victors and booked their spot in the final four of the Statewide Cup.
