WSL Round 15 Team of the Week

GK- Jenna Farrow (Olympia) Made some crucial, and impressive saves to maintain the clean sheet and deny the Zebras a way back into the game. RCB- Georgia Foote (Ulverstone) Led her side back into the game, as she pushed on and fired a brace including a thumping hit from range. CB- Sophie Leszczynski (Olympia) Did a fine job curtailing the influence of the dangerous Zoe Nichols and won a number of crucial duels. LCB- Raffaella Puli (Olympia) Defended her flank well and pushed forward to combine with Chambers down the left to devastating effect. CM- Lucy Foote (Ulverstone) A driving force in the middle to inspire the Ulverstone fightback, highly influential throughout, and strong on the ball. CM- Zoe Horgan (Kingborough)  Weaved passed opposition players like witches hats at times, was dangerous from set pieces and fired home a well taken penalty. CM- Olivia Bomford (Olympia) Masterfully controlled the midfield, especially in the first half as she sat deep and dictated play. RAM- Emille Tatton (Kingborough) A creative hub for the Lions, Tatto constantly troubled the defence with a number of clever through balls and set pieces. LAM- Madison Chambers (Olympia) Terrorised the Zebras defence and got in behind the lines frequently, leading to her scoring all 3 goals in a potential title winning display. ST- Jazmin White (Ulverstone) Another week, another hat-trick for the league's premiere goal scorer, helping secure the come from behind win. ST- Laura Davis (Kingborough) The star of the show, Davis scored four goals as she ran Clarence ragged in an utterly dominant striking display.
