Just the two games to choose from this weekend in the WSL, here were the
GK- Georgia Anderson (Ulverstone)
The Warriors would have taken all 3 points had it not been for the Ulverstone keeper who stood tall, especially in the final moments as she came up big 3 times to keep it locked at 2-2.
CB- Zara Dixon (Clarence)
South would have scored a number more goals if not for the imperious defensive work of Dixon who shut down a bunch of promising South attacks.
CB- Maddie Black (Olympia)
Black kept things under control at the back for the most part and allowed the Warriors to have the better of the game as they won the ball high up the pitch.
CB- Susanah Blackwood-Beattie (Ulverstone)
Did well under a tremendous amount of pressure at the back and put in a number of important tackles. Also did a good job forcing players into less threatening areas to fire their shots from.
RW- Aline Kidd (South Hobart)
Setup the equalising goal and was lively down the right for her side, playing some promising balls and unlocking the Reds defence.
CM- Lucy Roberts (South Hobart)
A classy performance in midfield where she helped South dictate the play and bagged a well deserved goal as she fired home into the bottom corner.
CM- Jade Williams (Olympia)
Williams was her usual instrumental self in the Warriors engine room, dissecting the defence in a surgical like manner with her fine range of passing.
LW- Nikki Moutsatsos (South Hobart)
A well taken brace for Moutsatsos which was key to her sides victory over Clarence, pouncing on mistakes at the back and making them pay full price
CF- Pichon Choi (South Hobart)
Another excellent game from a player who has been amongst the league's very best this year, got on the score sheet again and gave the Reds defence plenty of problems.
ST- Lexi Pelafas (Olympia)
As if the Warriors weren't a scary enough prospect in attack already! Their latest addition looks a serious player, as her impressive blend of power and speed saw her score twice and she was unfortunate to not have made it a treble.
ST- Jazmin White (Ulverstone)
The goal machine and defending Golden Boot winner was a thorn in the side of a Warriors defence who struggled to deal with her pace and she scored two goals, including a real, put the 'body on the line' type of header to claim a point.
