FFT Announce $100,000 Veto Sports Deal

Football Federation Tasmania has today announced a $100,000 sponsorship deal with Veto Sports to become the naming rights sponsor of the Southern and Northern Championship competitions over the next three seasons. The deal will see the competitions branded as the Veto Southern Championship and Veto Northern Championship's for the next three seasons. Veto Sports is one of the leading sports team wear and equipment suppliers in Australia and the deal will provide opportunities for the clubs and referees to kit themselves out with new Veto Sports gear. "Veto is a fantastic company that offers uniforms, apparel and equipment. They're really going to provide fantastic support to football in Tasmania." said Foootball Federation Tasmania CEO Mike Palmer, in announcing the deal. "The really nice thing about this deal is that it's for the clubs, so there is genuine direct benefit for each of the clubs participating in the deal." Palmer suggested the signing of the deal indicated the strong position of Football in Tasmania. We're delighted, it demonstrates again the growth and strength of football in Tasmania here and to have Veto doing a $100,000 sponsorship deal for FFT and FFT's Championship clubs is something very special." "Our competition structures are really good at the moment, with the PS4 NPL TAS, we have a major international brand associated with that and then to have a very strong apparel sponsor in Australia for our second tier competitions in the North and South is fantastic news and shows the game continues to go in the right direction and from strength to strength.  The Managing Director of Veto Sports, Tariq Riaz believed the deal would prove beneficial to both parties. "Veto have been around for a while, we started in the year 2000 with our involvement in Tasmania around since 2004. We've grown steadily ever since and this is quite a major move forward with the naming rights of the Championship. We hope to increase our business here and service as many clubs as we possibly can."
