Football Federation Tasmania waved goodbye to one of its finest contributors on Saturday with Lauren Hargrave officiating her final game before departing for Canberra. Following the game she was given a guard of honour by the South Hobart and Kingborough players in recognition of her efforts.
Lauren has been an official with Football federation Tasmania for 10 years, where she has progressed on to the W League AR panel since the 2016/2017 season.

Some of the most talented junior footballers in the country are set to descend upon Devonport this weekend with the 2018 National SAP festival to be staged at Valley Road.
The event, which will showcase some of the best under 12 and 13 players in the country, will feature 21 teams from around Australia in three days of nonstop footballing action taking place from Friday 23 February to Sunday 25 February.

Football Federation Tasmania today introduced Bob Gordon as the new President of FFT at a Media conference whilst at the same time confirming that CEO Mike Palmer is set to move on from his position on March the 16th.

Football Federation Tasmania regrets to advise that following an investigation, three clubs have been found in breach of FFT Summer Cup Eligibility Rules from the weekend's games.
The rules governing player eligibility (2.0 Player Eligibility) state "to be eligible to compete in a final, a player must have played at least one match in that Division during the round robin." Hobart Zebras will be aiming to continue their winning ways and claim their fourth consecutive trophy as they prepare to defend their crown in the Summer Cup final against South Hobart on Friday night.
Following last season's treble, the Zebras have picked up right where they left off by advancing to another final courtesy of their nail biting 1-0 win over Taroona in the Semi Final. The 2018 NPL Tasmania and PFD Women's Super League seasons are set to launch this weekend. The action all gets back underway on Friday night at North Hobart Oval with a massive double header between Hobart Zebras and South Hobart. The Super League will kick things off at 5:45pm before the NPL game at 7:45pm.
