Football Federation Tasmania, in conjunction with Central Region Junior Football Association (CRJFA) is seeking to engage the services of adults to act as Game Leaders for junior football matches throughout the CRJFA winter season. There is a remuneration package associated with the role.

On Wednesday April 25, spend ANZAC Day at the football, with Hobart Zebras hosting an NPL/WSL double header at North Hobart Oval, Glenorchy Knights hosting Nelson featuring the annual ANZAC day sprint at KGV, and Southern FC playing New Town in a Championship double header at Sherburd Park

There will be introductory level 4 referee courses held in Hobart and Launceston later this month. The level 4 course is for beginner referees and consists of 4 sessions. It's the perfect entry point if you have considered getting involved and giving something back to the game.

The past few weekends have seen more than 100 coaches undertaking coach education and development opportunities in preparation for the 2018 junior season. Last Saturday morning alone saw 40 coaches from Central Region teams complete the ALDI MiniRoos Certificate at a sunny Margate Oval, with another 16 coaches taking part in an Introduction to Skill Training in the afternoon.This follows on from a number of ALDI MiniRoos, Skill Training and Game Training Certificate courses at various venues in Hobart and Launceston throughout March and April.

The times and venue for the 2018 Statewide Cup Finals has been determined, with three of the finals to be played at KGV on the traditional date of the Queen’s Birthday public holiday; Monday June 11.
