Glenorchy Knights are seeking participants for the annual half time sprint that will be staged at half time during their Anzac Day clash with Southern FC.
The game will be played Anzac Day, Tuesday 25 April at KGV, kicking off at 2:45pm, which will see the sprints take place at approximately 3:40pm.
This year there will be a Women’s sprint race held alongside the Men’s and both will have prize money for the champions.
Participants must be a registered player with an FFT club and there shall be a maximum of 2 participants allowed per club, in each event.
Football Federation Tasmania are pleased to announce that a recently formed partnership with the Migrant Resource Centre (MRC) is leading to increased opportunities for players to join our sport.
Following an initiative from the FFT Board and subsequent meetings with MRC staff it was agreed that FFT would host two engagement sessions to allow players to join the program. The aim of the partnership is to create a pathway for clients of the MRC to access the opportunity to play football and join local clubs.

The quarter finals of the various Statewide cup competitions have been drawn with the fixtures set to play out on the weekend of April 29/30. The dates, venues and kick off times will be finalised later in the week.
The kick off times for the quarter finals of the Statewide Cup competitions have now been confirmed and can be viewed below. The Saturday will feature a massive triple header of Lakoseljac Cup action in what is sure to be a bumper Saturday of football at KGV.

For the first time in its footballing history Tasmania will send four players to the National Training Camps that provide the basis for the selection of the Australian Under 15 national team. The record number of selections was due to the player’s strong showing at last years Under 14 National Youth Championships held in Coffs Harbor, where they were identified by the FFA technical staff as potential future national team talent.

Football Federation Tasmania is pleased to announce the Under 14 and Under 15 Girls’ squads that will represent Tasmania at the FFA National Youth Championships for Girls in July. The Tournament will be held at C.ex International Stadium in Coffs Harbour and will see teams from each Member Federation compete over 5 days from Monday 10th of July to Friday 14th of July. The squads will come together to train each Sunday at venues around the state as well as attending their nearest Player Support Program over the next 8 weeks as they prepare for the tournament.

Somerset Sharks Soccer Club Social Women's Football
The Somerset Soccer Club are running small-sided social women's games on Monday evening's at Cardigan Street, Somerset.
The games will be running from May through until August, the games kicking off at 7pm.
Females of all abilities are welcome to join, no football (soccer) experience is needed!

The dates and kick off times for the Statewide Cup Finals have been determined with games set to be played on the Queens Birthday Long Weekend.
The action kicks off on Friday night with a clash showcasing some of the States very best young talent with Olympia taking on South Hobart, from 7:00pm at KGV. Come along and see some of the stars of tomorrow in what is sure to be a high quality affair.
Then we move to the Queens Birthday Monday triple header, with the day kicking off with Metro taking on either Olympia or University in the Statewide Vase at 11:30am.
It is with deep regret that we announce the sad passing of Jimmy Dolliver, a stalwart of the Tasmanian football family and a much loved figure. Jimmy was a staunch servant of the game and enjoyed an illustrious playing career with South Hobart in the 1950s and 60s, going to represent Tasmanian.
