Football Federation Tasmania is pleased to announce that the full standalone version of the Women’s Super League will be taking flight in March 2017.
The Women’s Super League will involve north-west club Ulverstone Soccer Club, northern side Launceston City and six southern clubs - Clarence United, Hobart Zebras, Kingborough Lions, Olympia, Taroona, and University whom will compete in 21 Rounds for the 2017 Women’s Super League title.
The first round will kick off in Female Football Week, on the 17th of March weekend and continue through to August.

Female Football Week is about celebrating the female players, coaches, referees, administrators and male champions who support women’s football, with the breakfast the perfect way to kick off the week!

The MiniRoos Coaching Course is the ideal introduction to coaching ALDI MiniRoos. This is a FREE course for coaches training 5-9 year old players. The three-hour course is practical and encourages the coaches to develop practices based on FUN.

The first step on the road to the 2017 FFA Cup has been set with the first round of the 2017 Statewide Lakoseljac Cup officially drawn. The action will kick off on Monday 13 March with four games set to be played.
As there are 20 teams who have entered the 2017 Lakoseljac Cup this season, 8 teams are required to play in the round of 32, with 12 teams given a bye to go straight through to the round of 16. The seeding for the byes was based off ladder position in the 2016 season, with the NPL sides and highest ranked Championship sides all given the bye.
Football Federation Tasmania is offering a massive discount for females completing community coaching certificates throughout March 2017!
The Federation will give a 50% discount to individual females who register for community coaching certificates throughout March 2017. Female participants will also receive a Female Football Week Pack!

Female Football Week has kicked off for 2017 at a breakfast held to honour the recipients of FFW Women's Football Community Awards. The awards were given out for outstanding contributions to the game over the course of the 2016 season. Central Region Junior Soccer Association – Girls Football Festival
CRJSA will be hosting a free girls 5-16 football fun morning on Saturday 18th of March – all are welcome to attend. The inflatable football field will be up and the girls can enjoy some small-sided games.
CRJSA have flown down Westfield W-League Canberra United Head Coach Rae Dower and footballer Ash Sykes to attend the event!
The draw for the round of 16 of the Lakoseljac Cup has been held at KGV Football house this morning with members of the Lakoseljac family present to help conduct the draw.
The round of 16 is slated to be played on Monday 17 April and for many sides it will be the first step on the road to the FFA Cup. The following match ups have been drawn.

Football Federation Tasmania will be running a Skill Training Certificate course beginning Sunday, 9th of April. The course will run over two Sundays, with the first part on the 9th of April at Pembroke Park, Sorell and the second part on the 23rd of April at Edgeworth Street ground, Warrane, 9am to 4pm on both days. The course is designed for coaches training players in the 9-13 year old age group.
