We reach the final day of the regular season with the final table locked into place, with no side able to move up or down on the league table in Saturday's action. So let's take a look at the final set of WSL matches for 2023, and reflect on each of the season’s that the sides have put together…

Football Tasmania will offer its next C Diploma coaching course beginning 4 November.
The course has recently been revamped by Football Australia. The Foundation course will now become part of the C Diploma, and will be run as the first day of the course.
The C Diploma will continue as a 60-hour course as per AFC requirements, but will be reduced to five days of practical learning. The extra hours will be made up online and in club training sessions.
Another change in the diploma is that most participants will be assessed during the course, not as a separate assessment after the…
Welcome to the Friday Forecast for Semi Final weekend in the MyState Bank Women’s Super League. A post-league season Cup is back on the agenda as finals returns for the first time in several years. Now to be clear, the existence of these finals doesn’t invalidate South Hobart as the Champion Team of 2023. This isn’t the A-League model and South Hobart has still won the major prize for the year. This is simply one more piece of silverware on offer for the clubs to try and add to their trophy cabinets and end the season with some excitement. It’s basically another Cup competition, which you…
Welcome to the Friday Forecast for Semi Final weekend in the McDonald’s NPL Tasmania. For the first time in many years, a post-league season Cup returns to the schedule in the form of a finals series. To be clear, this is not the A-League model and the existence of these finals doesn’t invalidate Devonport as the Champion’s of 2023. The Strikers have still won the major prize and nothing in the next fortnight invalidates that achievement. This is simply one more piece of silverware on offer for the clubs to try and add to their trophy cabinets and end the season with a big show. Given the…
Welcome to the Weekend-Wash Up from Semi Final weekend of the MyState Bank Women’s Super League season. It will be the Devonport Strikers taking on Clarence Zebras in the final next weekend after the Strikers brushed aside Launceston United and the Zebras produced a stunning upset to bounce the League Champions South Hobart in an exciting afternoon of action. Unfortunately, a camera failure at Valley Road, meant I was only able to see one of the two semi-finals, so I'll be going considerably more into depth into that match in this review.
Welcome to the Weekend Wash-up for Semi Final Weekend of the McDonald’s NPL Tasmania season. The day got underway with South Hobart downing the Glenorchy Knights 2-0 at Darcy Street, before the Strikers punched their ticket to the decider with a last-minute 2-1 victory over the Kingborough Lions. That means it will be Devonport up against South Hobart next weekend in the final, the third Cup final between the pair this year, having previously met in the Summer Cup and Lakoseljac Cups.

Welcome to the final Friday Forecast for the 2023 season ahead of this weekend’s WSL Grand Final. It’s been a long and exciting season, but we’ve now reached the final act, as the season reaches its conclusion at Valley Road.
In a somewhat surprising final match-up, it will be the WSL runner’s up Devonport Strikers taking on the fourth placed Clarence Zebras for the final trophy on offer in 2023.
The Striker's place in this game comes as no surprise, they’ve been in fantastic form in the back half of the season, scoring goals for fun and surging past Launceston United to a second-…
