Football Australia, in co-ordination with Football Tasmania, is conducting a B Diploma Coaching Course in Tasmania commencing on December 2, 2023.
The first two sessions will be held on January 13 and 14 2024 in Launceston. Further dates and venues can be found in the course details link below.

Football Tasmania, with the sponsorship support of Klimate Solutions, will be conducting a new 6-week girls only come and try program from November to December.
The Klimate program targets players previously registered, as well as new players, and is all about having fun and learning new skills.
Players do not need to be currently registered with a club or have any previous playing experience to participate.
The program will run on a Wednesday evening at KGV, Glenorchy with session times as below.
Over the last two weeks, Tasmanian teams have competed in the National Youth Championships with the boys' competition running from 2-6 October with matches played at Valentine Sports Park in Western Sydney, and the girls' competition running from 9-13 October with matches played at Wollongong's WIN Stadium and JJ Kelly Field.
Five referees from Tasmania also officiated at the tournament with Josh Berry and Thomas Mace officiating in the boys' National Youth Championships and Meggie Goscombe, Ellie Beeston and Saxon McDermott officiating the girls' National Youth Championships.
Football Tasmania's Talent Support Program (TSP) will have four teams competing in in the Shepparton Cup in Victoria this week.
The Shepparton Cup is Victoria's largest junior football tournament and will see teams play at the Shepparton Sports City and Mooroopna Reserve.
In 2019 more than 3000 players competed in the tournament from Victoria, interstate and overseas. The tournament ranges from U7-U17 years and guarantees a minimum of four games per team regardless of their result.

The Under 14s Boys team kicked things off with a pre-tournament match against Western United's Academy 14s defeating the academy side 4-2.
The Under 14s went on to play four matches in the State of Origin Tournament held at the Darebin International Sports Centre, Victoria from September 18-21. The Under 14 side came away with one win, two draws and a loss. Full match results can be found below.
TWO new teams will join the State’s Women’s Super League when it resumes in 2024, boosting the league to eight teams.

The 2024 Statewide Referee Conference will be held on Sunday 4 February in Launceston at the Sir Raymond Ferrall Centre at the UTAS Newnham Campus starting at 11am.

Football Tasmania will have three teams competing in the 2024 National Futsal Championships. The teams will compete in the U12s, U15s and U16s categories.

Football Tasmania will proceed with a seven-side WSL competition in 2024, after the withdrawal of Clarence Zebras from the league.
CEO Tony Pignata said: "We are disappointed the club will no longer take part in the WSL next year, but understand their reasons.
"The 2024 competition will now feature a bye round, as per season 2022 when we had seven teams competing.
"We look forward to the Clarence Zebras continuing in the Southern Women’s Championship in 2024 and hope to welcome them back into the WSL in coming years."

Fourteen of Tasmania's top referees are set to join the 2024 Football Tasmania Referee Academy. The aim of the academy is to produce high-quality match officials to service the local state leagues and to prepare referees for potential national selection.
