Olympia’s good run of form came to a screeching halt with a loss to the Zebras last week, but they could still leapfrog back past South Hobart with a win on Saturday. That’s twice now this season that the Warriors have lost to their Eastern Shore rivals, and with a 12-5 shot count and 10-1 corner…

Match Primer
The results have swung both ways with this match-up and despite South Hobart sitting between Kingborough and Ulverstone on the ladder, it’s inevitable this will be tight again.…
A second half fightback has seen the Kingborough Lions claim a 3-2 win over Ulverstone at Lightwood Park in their Round 10 WSL clash. A brace from the exciting Holly Bonertz-Benn combined with a goal from star striker Laura Davis was enough for the Lions to overcome a 2-1 half time defecit after Reimer and Cropp had handed Ulverstone the early advantage.
Ulverstone took the lead early on through some nice play from Lucy Reimer. After running onto George's through ball, she turned onto her left in the area, nutmegging her marker in the process before sweeping home the goal.

The Clarence Zebras have won two games in a row for the first time in club history after downing Riverside Olympic 4-1 at a wet and windy Wentworth Park on Saturday afternoon.
A brace to Riley Dillon along with goals to Ryan Cook and James Ackerley saw the home side run out convincing winners.
The Zebras began the game firing with Huigsloot and Dillon combining along with combination play from Pace and Price. This early pressure continued throughout the opening stages, with the home side breaking through in the 15th minute.
The Olympia Warriors have stormed to a 6-3 win over South Hobart in an absolute goal fest at Darcy Street. The brilliance of the Brown twins and a fine showing from Nicholas Mearns in a new look striking role helped secure the victory, as 3 goals in the final five minutes of the first half did the bulk of the damage.
The opening goal of the game came on 13 minutes via Nicholas Mearns who was cast in the role of a striker, playing between the Brown twins on either flank and the move proved a masterstroke from Rob Clarke. Having seen South twice come close at the…
The Devonport Strikers have taken a step closer to securing a three-peat and their fourth title in five seasons, as they accounted for Kingborough Lions 3-1 at Valley Road on Saturday. First half goals from Brody Denehey and Joel Stone set up the victory, before Danny Cowen cut the gap with his penalty early in the second half. But any Lions hopes were quickly dashed when Todd Hingston rose to head home a quick response from a corner and secure the win that leaves the Strikers closing in on yet another NPL Tasmania crown.
The Glenorchy Knights maintained their pursuit of the Devonport Strikers, once again cutting the gap at the top to 4 points with a well earned 3-1 win over Launceston City. An own goal from Linger coupled with a superb solo goal from Alex Walter gave the visitors a two goal lead before Charlie Dyer provided some late hope for City with a well taken goal to cut the lead to 2-1 with 15 minutes to play. A harsh second yellow card to Matthew Oh killed off any hopes for the hosts however, as Ryan Backhouse made sure of the win with his 84th minute tap in.
Allie Berry continued her recent run of dominant form, scoring four times as the Clarence Zebras swept past University 5-1 at Olinda Grove. The brilliant Berry proved unplayable as the visitors kept themselves within striking distance of Olympia with a comfortable victory
A Bonnie Davies hat-trick helped spark a dominant second half performance from the Olympia Warriors, as they overcame South Hobart 7-2 on Sunday at Warrior Park. Holding a 2-1 lead at half time, the Warriors went up a gear in the second half and South simply couldn't stick with them as the Warriors ran out big winners to remain clear on top of the league after 10 rounds.
Selection news saw Olympia with a strong starting XI while South continued to be hit with injuries with the absence of striker Phoebe Djakic being left out of the match squad. After having her first shot down the middle…
South Hobart have defeated the Kingborough Lions 5-2 and earned their spot in the Lakoseljac Cup semi-finals. The quarter-final replay proved a memorable game but at times not for the right reasons. Both teams will be thankful for the final whistle as we saw a lot of brutal knocks and near injuries, namely Lion's Kenneth Trac and South's Riley Morton who both went down during the match.
Kingborough looked to have the early advantage through Chris Downes's goal but that was erased almost instantly by an equaliser from South's Bradley Lakoseljac. South's Andy Brennan produced a well needed…

We’ve asked for weeks now where the goals will come from for the Warriors, and they answered those questions emphatically by putting six past South Hobart last round. This will be a much tougher test of their new-look front line, though, as they will host a Strikers…
Launceston City have secured their first win of the season and northern bragging rights, downing Riverside Olympic 3-1 at Windsor Park on Saturday afternoon.
The game had it all, with a brace to Sam Ridgard, a penalty, a red card, and an outfield player pulling on the keeper shirt all contributing to a famous derby win.
City began the game well, with Dyer and Mohammadi combining on the left wing. Shots fell to Ridgard and Mies before the men in black and white opened the scoring. The visitors first goal came in the 18th minute when Lindsay Millington played a long ball down the pitch.…
The Devonport Strikers have taken an enormous stride towards securing their third consecutive league title, as they fought back from a goal behind to defeat the Olympia Warriors 2-1 at Warrior Park. The Strikers fell behind to an early Callum Brown goal, but headers from Brody Denehey and substitute Harry Crocker saw them grind out another road win that now leaves them on the precipice of another NPL TAS crown.
The Warriors took an early lead when Callum Brown started a counter attack on the right wing before working it to Nicholas Mearns. Mearns fed Gorrie who picked out Brown's continued…
