The draws for the Quarter Final Stage of the Statewide Cup competitions have today been held at KGV Football House. The games are to be played the weekend of May 10-12 with dates and kick off times TBD over the coming day.
In the Lakoseljac Cup, the tie of the round is undoubtedly the Hobart Zebras v Devonport game, with the two having played out a thrilling 2-1 game on Easter Monday in the league. The Olympia Warriors have moved to the top of the NPL TAS table with a 3-1 win over the Glenorchy Knights. Rowan Heggie brought a dreary game to life with his stunning bicycle kick that gave the Knights the lead, before Joffrey Nkoso fired back within a minute. A classy cameo off the bench for the returning Horacio Gutierrez Jnr ensured the Kingborough Lions walked away with the win over Clarence on Saturday night at Lightwood Park.
